Welcome to the SHRN Data Dashboard For Schools.
As a member of the School Health Research Network (SHRN) in Wales, we are delighted to bring you access to our new SHRN Data Dashboard For Schools, which provides bespoke data based on your studentsā responses to The SHRN Student Health and Well-being (SHW) survey. The SHW survey asks students about a range of health behaviours, including aspects of their physical and mental health, and social relationships. Many questions in the survey come from the internationalĀ Health Behaviour in School-aged Children (HBSC) study, supported by the World Health Organization. Funded by Welsh Government, SHRN is a research-policy-practice partnership between Cardiff University, Welsh Government, and Public Health Wales. We thank you for your ongoing support of SHRN and hope this dashboard can further support you to improve the health and well-being of your learners.
About the Data Dashboard
The SHRN Data Dashboard For Schools was created using User Centered Tool Design, which involved multiple cycles of stakeholder involvement. This included school staff, school health practitioners, and young people via research advisory groups. Dashboard development was led by an inter-disciplinary team of Cardiff University researchers from across the Centre for Trials Research, DECIPHer, and the Wolfson Centre for Young People’s Mental Health. Funding is gratefully acknowledged from Wellcome via its Mental Health Data Prize scheme.
